13th & Chambers is my block. I see the twin dynamics of love and fear in my community: love for our friends, fear of suffering, love of progress, fear of failure. These feelings are always present, and the struggle to make meaning of them plays out as the backdrop of our lives. The ‘13th & Chambers’ volume, we hope, is a worthy expression of our prayer for a better future.
